Every business owner’s goal is to achieve success and continuously thrive in their respective industry. It is a must for them to set their objectives to operate and grow a successful business.
GoVirtuals is not different from any other business out there. As the founder and owner of GoVirtuals Virtual Assistant Services Company, my goal is to provide utmost customer service satisfaction in terms of virtual assistance. As a result, we are one of the thriving companies in the industry.
But all of these would never happen without the tremendous help from my team of 100% Filipino Virtual Assistants, individuals who are well-equipped with the skill sets needed to provide virtual services to our clients.
And I believe that employees who feel appreciated feel valued. It’s no longer a mystery because showing your employees that they are valued creates tremendous results.
Here at GoVirtuals, we take care of our employees as much as we take care of our clients. That is why our team has a greater commitment and displays greater levels of communication.
Other leaders may still be in search of ideas to show their appreciation to their team, so here are some of the easy steps that I want to share to help you establish better work surroundings, enhance motivation, create long-term relationships with your employees, and establish a work-life balance.
- Always think positive – it all starts with a simple shifting of mindset. Though as a leader, we are prone to falling into the habit of correcting faults or negative attitudes, it is more important to see and recognize the positive changes our people offer. This can make a tremendous impact on whether or not our team feels valued.
- Always look and ask for input – asking our team members about their ideas would not only gain insights and resolutions, but we may also uncover how they feel about their job role. Always seek their input. It will make them feel more valued and important.
- Always communicate clearly and often as possible – we used to think that job satisfaction defines an employee’s relationship with the assignments they perform. But lack of recognition is one reason for employees to leave. Without proper communication, employees tend to assume that their efforts are not being recognized or valued.
- Always reward results – it doesn’t mean that there’s always monetary recognition involve. A sincere thank you or appreciation letter, small gift, or just a simple recognition message proved to be enough. But remember that your reward should always be on par with the result.
The above-mentioned ideas are just a few on how we recognize our employees here at GoVirtuals.
Showing gratitude to each of our team members is part of our normal routine which resulted in our people rise to become their best version.
